Frank Justice

Frank has always been the person people felt comfortable talking to regarding the most difficult and confusing times in their life. Being raised primarily in a single mother home he was taught to never judge a person, regardless of their situation. Always one to empathize with those in need, Frank enlisted in the Army shortly after 9/11 to help those who may be oppressed globally. While in a direct combat role Frank saw the compassion humanity can possess, even when it seems all hope is lost. He carried that notion of humanity with him through family tragedies, homelessness, and nearly two decades of recovery from PTSD and TBI related conditions. Through life challenges Frank has a firm familiarity with substance use as he watched his Father, Uncles, military buddies, and significant others struggle. Knowing all too well how far empathy can stretch a helping hand, Frank wakes up daily with a mission forward mindset to be ready with a shoulder to cry on, an ear to vent to, and a hand to pull you through.

Frank is a Peer Recovery Support Specialist with 17 years in recovery. He is an advocate for veteran mental health and substance use recovery, actively working in the community to assist homeless and low income veterans in seeking recovery, as well as establishing disability benefits and helping vets navigate the often frustrating halls of the VA system. While not on mission, you may catch Frank at a hockey game, the races, or at one of the many live music venues in the Las Vegas valley.
