PHP, IOP, & OP Treatment Programs At The Nestled
Groups focus on relapse prevention including coping skills for triggers and cravings, processing trauma, emotion regulation, family dynamics, and learning healthy communication skills.
What Is A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)?
PHP is a highly structured outpatient program that serves as a bridge between inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment. This level of care allows clients to attend treatment during the day and return home at night. The PHP is designed for individuals who require more support than an outpatient program can provide but do not require 24-hour care in an inpatient setting, yet need psychiatric and medical oversight, as a client will meet with a provider weekly for medication management.
What Is An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
IOP is typically a step down from a Partial Hospitalization Program. It is designed to provide structured, focused treatment to clients while allowing them to maintain their daily routines. The IOP treatment is designed for individuals who require less intensive treatment than a PHP.
What Is A Traditional Outpatient Program (OP)?
A traditional Outpatient Program (OP) is generally a step down from IOP. OP offers the most flexible treatment option for individuals seeking ongoing support while managing their daily responsibilities. This program is well-suited for those who have completed IOP and require continued care as they transition to greater independence.
Groups focus on relapse prevention including coping skills for triggers and cravings, processing trauma, emotion regulation, family dynamics, and learning healthy communication skills.
How Long Does The Nestled Outpatient Program Last?
- Average PHP programming is 5 weeks with a total of 25 group sessions and 5 individual sessions.
- Average IOP programming extends an additional 8 weeks with a total of 24 group sessions and 8 individual sessions.
- Traditional Outpatient programming extends another 8 weeks after completing PHP or IOP, with 16 group sessions and 8 individual sessions to allow clients to transition to a less intensive level of care before discharge.
- A client’s length of stay will be tailored depending on their individual needs.
