We also demonstrated our commitment to continually improving patient care. We comply with Joint Commission standards 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
About The Joint Commission
According to its website, “The Joint Commission enterprise is a global driver of quality improvement and patient safety in health care.” The organization’s mission is to continuously improve health care for the public by evaluating facilities like ours and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value.
The Joint Commission achieves its mission by evaluating certain standards. To develop these standards, the organization consults health care experts, providers, and patients. With scientific literature and expert consensus, The Joint Commission has the tools to measure, assess, and improve performance at health care facilities nationwide.
As the chief operating officer of Accreditation and Certification Operations and the chief nursing executive of The Joint Commission, Mark Pelletier, RN, MS, stated the following:
“The Joint Commission surveys health care organizations to protect the public by identifying deficiencies in care and working with those organizations to correct them as quickly and sustainably as possible. We commend The Nestled Recovery Center for its continuous quality improvement efforts in patient safety and quality of care.”
What Does Joint Commission Accreditation Mean?
In addition to being a symbol of quality and safety, the Joint Commission Accreditation comes with several other benefits. As an accredited organization, we receive ongoing education to improve our business operations and staff competency. We may also be able to accept more insurance options, as some insurers list accreditation as a prerequisite for insurance eligibility.
Most importantly, our association with one of the most respected names in health care furthers our mission to provide individualized, safe, confidential, and comfortable care to those struggling with drug and alcohol addiction and mental health. Our trauma-informed addiction treatment center is dedicated to your recovery.
Holistic Care
Outside of our accreditation, we offer personalized attention and holistic care. Our 10-bed facility offers a truly individualized approach to therapy, and our nursing staff is available 24/7 to support our residents.
We also believe in the holistic model of wellness, which means we support your emotional, physical, spiritual, mental, occupational, social, financial, and environmental health.
With our accredited treatment programs and focus on every aspect of your wellbeing, we are more than confident in your recovery journey.
